Waiting: Spring 2020

MARCH 25: Write a short-form poem. I chose to write a Shadorma. A Shadorma is a Spanish 6-line syllabic poem of 3/5/3/3/7/5 syllable lines respectively.

This Pandemic is on all our minds and I believe that while we have developed a fighting spirit, we are also in mourning for many things: our old way of life, lost jobs, friends who have lost jobs, lost health, lost connection, lost goals. And on and on.
