“To see the mystery”
The Fall trees hide the better views,
these lofty sanctuaries of wooden pews,
For just one day, if God would amuse,
I’d strap on wings and join my muse
far above the leaves and fray
to see just what the willows do
and view the sights from lofty pews
of cardinal reds and blue jay blues
a lazy gray, a tease of May.
Alight with ease now seize the day.
What lofty views! I love this.
